The Neil Young Archives is a unique and comprehensive collection that allows fans to explore and appreciate Neil Young's music, films, videos, art, and more. Serving as the companion app to the website, it brings Neil's high-resolution music and videos to mobile devices.

With an NYA Classic membership, users can delve into Neil Young's albums using a detailed timeline and enjoy streaming audio in high resolution on their iPhones or iPads. Exciting additions for 2021 include an extensive video and movie archive, providing users with the opportunity to watch Neil's videos and movies on their mobile devices for a reasonable cost.

In terms of subscription options, non-NYA members can still benefit from the app's features such as exploring the timeline, reading Neil Young's Times-Contrarian newspaper, and listening to the song of the day along with one featured album for free.

For those who opt for an "NYA CLASSIC" subscription plan, a world of exclusive benefits awaits. This includes access to Neil Young's complete high-resolution catalogue for streaming on the web, phone, and tablet using Xstream by NYA. Yearly subscribers also have the advantage of pre-sale concert tickets with the best seats in the house. Additionally, members can enjoy exclusive live concert streams and download high-resolution tracks from the Xstream by NYA store at affordable prices. The NYA Times Contrarian Newspaper regularly offers new articles written by Neil and the esteemed NYA writing team. Unreleased archival video content is also made available to "NYA CLASSIC" subscribers first. Info cards accompany each song, providing lyrics, credits, photos, memorabilia, and documents (desktop only). Furthermore, members gain access to movie nights at the three-screen Hearse Theater, exclusive screenings, pay-per-view access to extensive video and film archives, first buy discounts at NYA's Greedy Hand store, and the opportunity to browse the NYA File Cabinet and Info Cards with lyrics and information about all songs (desktop only). The comprehensive timeline feature allows users to see how it all happened and continues to grow. Playlists are also available for desktop users.

Introductory prices for the "NYA CLASSIC" subscription plan start at $1.99 per month or an annual subscription of $19.99, which includes access to pre-sale tickets. An "NYA RUST" subscription plan encompasses everything offered in the "NYA CLASSIC" subscription, and more. It grants unlimited access to "MOVIETONE," an extensive video and film archive featuring music videos, long videos, and full-length movies. Members can also participate in "TIMELINE CONCERTS," where they can submit concert requests, listen to other members' requests, and relish in live performances and concerts. Upgrading from "NYA CLASSIC" to "NYA RUST" is possible at any time, with credit given for the unused part of the "NYA CLASSIC" subscription.

Subscription renewal occurs automatically at the end of each term, with payment charged through the user's iTunes account. The confirmation of purchase charges the user's Apple ID account, and renewal fees are charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Users have the ability to manage their subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal through their iTunes account settings.
